Hi everyone!
So today I thought I'd do the "Would you rather" tag! Please comment and pass on the tag :) Enjoy!
1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
Hmmmmm, I'd rather lose all my palettes and eye shadows as I just love my mascara, eyeliner and lipstick too much!
2. Would you rather chop all of your hair off or never be able to cut it again?
OMG hard decision! Well, I've cut my hair quite a lot in the past and hated it.... so probs never be able to cut it off... but if I chopped it off, then I could then grow it! Hmmm okay first option.
3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral. I have naturally flushed cheeks so pink blusher tends not to look as nice as I'm very pale too...
4. If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
These questions are so hard!! Erm, probably clothes.... because clothes last longer....
5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Deffo eyeliner as lipstick. Not only does eyeliner last longer, but it's much more precise... Plus you can get loads of eyeliner colours that you could pull off on your lips hahaha
6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Hmmm well we don't have Sephora in England but we do have Mac.... however I think Sephora stock a whole range of brands so I suppose I'd have more choice at Sephora.... So Sephora it is!
7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One lip colour. I would just wear red lipstick permanently! But I just love changing up my eyeshadows!
8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter deffo!! I could layer up my summer clothes or just go cold... I prefer being too cold compared to being too hot!
9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Dark nails! They're classic and elegant and go with so many outfits!
10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip colour or favourite eye product?
Favourite lip colour probs... I could find another one similar if I tried hard!
11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or messy bun?
Messy bun! My hair is quite fine so I love a messy bun as my hair in a ponytail can look a little flat! Plus I can put pretty things in my bun!
12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never be able to paint my nails. I love lip products too much!!!
13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
OMG hahahahaha!! Probs.... sharpie them in.... hahaha too funny!!
14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Again, live without nail polish! Makeup is life!
So this was a fun beauty tag! Send it to loads of people! Hope you're having a fabulous day :)
Happy Tuesday!

What I Ate Wednesday
Hello! Long time no speak! I'm sorry :( But today I though I'd share with you my new healthy eating diet and regime! So I will share with you all the food I've had today. I will have a blog post later on my new exercises and more food posts! But for now... Enjoy!!
So for breakfast I had Muesli topped with fresh strawberries and dried cranberries, with Sainsburys organic semi-skimmed milk! I usually have to be in the mood for muesli but I actually really enjoyed it today! I also had Waitrose smooth apple and mango juice which is fabbo!!
Then for lunch, I scrambled 1 free range, fresh egg and toasted two pieces of Sainsburys Taste the Difference, multi-seeded bloomer... Which I must say, tastes like HEAVEN. I also had it with a glass of water. I did have an apple after but I forgot to take a pic of it - sorry haha. It was just a regular braeburn apple.
Then for my afternoon "Snack" I made my self a Coffee Frappuchino! I brewed a cup of coffee as usual and added a teaspoon of sugar, Waited for it to cool a little before adding vanilla essence, crushed ice and 1/4 cup of milk which I then blended together! It was delicious!! :)
And so finally for dinner, I had fresh Salmon, potato wedges and a healthy salad! Accompanied my lemon water :) And for pudding, I had Rachel's organic raspberry yogurt with fresh strawberries!
Thank you for reading! And I'm trying to make this a weekly thing!! :)
Happy Healthy Wednesday!!

Current foundation routine for dry to combination skin
Hello!
So today I thought I'd do an updated foundation routine as FINALLY I have found one that works for me! So I have dry skin on my cheeks, forehead and jawline but an oily nose. I find that this foundation routine really works and for the most part is inexpensive! I am also deathly pale so if you're a fair skinned lady like me, you should be fine and dandy!
So this is me with no makeup on whatsoever, as you can see I have moderate acne which I am currently having treatment for! I have already cleansed and applied my treatment gel.
1) First, I like to apply my Nivea Express hydration primer (Which I have a review on here). This will create a soft, smooth base for your makeup as well as moisturising and reducing your dry skin!
2) I apply my GOSH illuminating CC cream in "Porcelain". This is light to build able medium coverage CC cream which gives my skin a really radiant glow! It makes my skin look glowy and dewy (Stay away if you're very oily) and it undetectable on the skin! I'm in love. So as you can see in the images below, it has covered some of the more angry spots and scars however hasn't completely concealed them. It is a very pale colour with yellow/neutral undertones which I LOVE. I applied this with my flat top buffing brush.
3) To make sure I look flawless and spotless, I use my Estee Lauder double wear foundation in "Shell" as a concealer. I can't use this foundation all over my face unfortunately as it is the wrong colour for me :( I have tried all of the pale colours and none of them were right for me as the foundation is too pink undertoned whereas I am more yellow/neutral undertoned. So as you can see, I applied the foundation in the areas where I had spots showing through as well as circles under my eyes!
4) Using my Mac duo fibre brush, I applied Natural Collection pressed powder in "Warm" on my t-zone. This way it keeps my oily patches nice and matte, whilst maintaining a healthy glow.
5) Apply the rest of your makeup and show people how amazing your skin looks!!
That's it for today folks! Thanks for reading and I hope you found this useful :)
Happy Thursday!

Nivea Daily Essential Express Hydration Primer Dry and Sensitive Skin Review
Hello all! So the end of my exams is near FINALLY!!! So today I'm going to be doing a review on the Nivea Daily Essential Express Hydration Primer so please read on!
But first I need to tell you a story about my skin. One week ago, I had oily/combination skin with acne; therefore every item of makeup I own is suited to that... meaning everything is matte, shine control, oil free etc. But last Thursday my prescription for my skin changed. My doctor prescribed me tetracycline and prescribed me benzoyl peroxide and Isotrex gel. These are two topical gel/creams that I apply twice a day. However both these products have completely dried my skin out and I am dry, flaky, peeling, burnt, dry and even more dry. It's depressing. So I needed a product I could use under my makeup that would both help and hide my dry skin! And I came across this holy grail! So now that we have the boring story over with, on to the review.
Basics
50ml
£4.99 (Currently on offer in boots for £3.99)
Description: "Provides an even and smooth base for effective make-up application and helps your makeup stay put. Absorbs instantly thanks to its light texture. Uses an effective hydrator for long-lasting moisturisation and a soft skin feeling."
It is also enriched with natural Almond Oil and Calendula Extract.
Packaging
Straight off the bat we can see how nicely packaged this is! It's packaged in a sturdy, round, glass jar with a pink lid (Yay pink). It also comes in a card box with all the ingredients and product details on it as well which is even more nifty. Overall, I really like how it's packaged, the fact that it comes in a box and it made in glass makes everything look more fancy and expensive!
Product
This product is gel/serum based. It has a really nice texture and is very very hydrating. The scent is heavenly! It is actually the nicest smelling product I have ever owned! I can't even describe it! It's a mixture of freshness, summer and heaven. I'm in love. So a little goes a LONG way. You just need a teeny tiny bit and it will cover your whole face. It's cooling and refreshing whilst really moisturising. Once applied it makes your face look dewy so it's NOT matte. It needs about 2 minutes to sink in fully - so it's not quick to sink in which might be a problem for some of you but I don't care. Once it has sunk in, your skin feels velvety and smooth. It's NOT a tinted primer so it doesn't alter skin colour or cover blemishes or anything, however you look very glowy and healthy.
Performance
Although having only used this product for a few days, I have noticed that when I apply my makeup over the top of this, my dry skin looks drastically reduced and it smooths the flaky skin out. As I have bunt patches, this doesn't irritate this or sting at all which is fabbo! So I usually put this on at about 7:15am and take it off around 10:30pm and I feel that it does help my makeup last longer.
Overall
So overall, I think that if you have dry, flaky, sensitive skin.... GO FOR IT. For £4.99 for 50ml which is totally amazing! It can be easily compared to high end/premium brands!! I really love it and would encourage all of you to try this! There is also the same primer but for oily/combo skin if you're interested. However I can't give a personal recommendation as I haven't tried it but I have heard brilliant reviews for that as well! So I really encourage you all to buy this!
I hope you're all enjoying this fabulous warm weather here in Britain!
Happy Thursday

Reasons Why I Love Lea Michele
Hey folks,
So today I'm doing a post on reasons why I love Lea Michele. She is one of my biggest inspirations and a truely lovely person. So here goes!
Her voice - This one was kind of obvious. She has such a big voice for someone so tiny! I remember being blown away when I first heard her belt her songs out on Glee. Her voices conveys a lot of emotion and power that makes her one of the best and biggest voices of our generation!
Her constant positivity - Lea Michele has a great body image that frankly I think more young woman should have. She’s even talked about how she honestly doesn’t give a damn about what people think of her look or her body. “If anyone tells me I can’t eat, then I’m going to tell them to you-know-what themselves.” Aside from that, when Cory (Her boyfriend/fiancee) passed away, she was possibly the bravest person ever.
She loves animals, and she’s not afraid to show it. From working with PETA to help animals support in need to simply cuddling with her pet cat, Sheila, Lea definitely shows the love to her animals.
She's the most beautiful woman ever! With no makeup, on the red carpet, on Instagram, ANYWHERE she looks amazing!
We love you Lea!

Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation - COLOUR COMPLAINT
So today I'm doing a complaining/negative review on the new maybelline foundation! Now I'm yet to actually try this so I'm not commenting on the foundation itself. However I'm here to complain about the colour. Being a pale/fair skinned girl I assumed that the lightest shade, "Ivory" should be pale enough. However I am appalled at the colour.
This photo was taken in broad daylight, in front of a window. This hasn't got any filters on it etc.
Now I am pale - I give you that... But even still I'm not the palest out there!! But this is an abomination! The last time I checked, ivory was meant for fair skinned women, not super tan jersey shore girls!!
Anyway, I just want to warn you girls and guys who are interested in purchasing this. And maybelline... Shame on you. You need to sort your shades out!!!
A not so happy Saturday!
Lucy xoxo
